It’s been a great day, crisp with great light and the penultimate shoot for my project “The Last Herd” with the Royal Parks Shires, London’s last working herd of Shire Horses.  In this time the herd has bucked the trend and has increased in size with 8 beautiful horses making up the equine staff.  Today we were out with the two greys Heath and relative new boy Nobby. Viv and I met up with Tom Nixon, Andy Moody and the boys at Home Park at Hampton Court.  We made or way to Kingston Fields where the team were using a spring harrow to scarify old pasture.  Nobby is still new to this and is learning his trade, however he throws himself into it with great gusto.  The two greys looked amazing in the diamond hard winter sun and made some great images.  As offices go, Home Park ranks highly in my opinion.
